History

Ushiyama Station opened on 29 April 1931 on the Meitetsu Komaki Line in Kasugai, Aichi Prefecture, becoming unstaffed before November 1948. The double-tracking of the Manai–Toyoyama signal-station section, completed on 28 October 2000, converted the single side platform into an island platform serving two tracks. Manaca IC card service began on 11 February 2011, ending Tranpass on 29 February 2012. The unstaffed stop is managed by Inuyama Station, with platform capacity for six-car trains, and carries Meitetsu number KM09. The Japan Air Self-Defense Force Komaki Air Base — the station's principal landmark — has its main gate about five minutes' walk away.

Notes

During Komaki Air Base air shows the train stop position is shifted so that the normally-unused northern two-car section of the platform comes into service.
