History
Ajima Station opened on 11 February 1931 as a stop on the Meitetsu Komaki Line, in what is now Kita Ward of Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. The station sits 2.3 kilometres from the Komaki Line's starting point at Kamiiida and has two opposed side platforms with an elevated station building. It is unattended, with automated ticket machines and Manaca turnstiles handling passenger traffic.
