History

Nagoya Dome-mae Yada Station opened on 19 January 2000 on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Meijō Line, when the line was extended from Ōzone to Sunadabashi. The Nagoya Guideway Bus stop above it followed on 23 March 2001, and on 1 March 2001 a pedestrian deck linking the two opened directly to Nagoya Dome. The subway station, in Higashi-ku, Nagoya, has a single island platform underground; it is a Meijō Line operational hub with an out-of-service line into the Daikō Depot, and platform-edge sliding gates entered service on 26 October 2020. The accent colour is red and the station number is M13. The guideway-bus stop is Y02 and uses two elevated side platforms.

Notes

The crossover between the Daikō Depot lead and the inner loop running line at Nagoya Dome-mae Yada is the only single-slip switch in service anywhere on the Nagoya Municipal Transportation Bureau's network.
