History
Ōyachi Station serves the Sangi Line in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, 2.5 km from the terminus at Kintetsu-Tomida and carrying station number S02. It opened on 23 July 1931 as a stop on the privately operated Sangi Railway, which still runs it today. The single island platform connects to the station building via a level crossing. Cargo handling has long since ended, but a former freight platform still marks the site's previous role.

Notes
The station-name signs still faintly show the old wording for the neighboring (now closed) Sangi-Asake stop.
