History

Nissei-chuo Station opened on 12 December 1978 as the terminus of the 2.6-kilometre Nissei Line, a Nose Electric Railway spur from Yamashita on the Myōken Line, in the town of Inagawa, Hyōgo Prefecture. The line and its newtown were both named for Nippon Life Insurance Company, the principal developer. The station has one island platform and one side platform connected by an elevated station building. It became an unstaffed station on 1 April 1991.

Notes

Both the station and the surrounding Nissay Newtown take their "Nissei" prefix from Nippon Life Insurance Company, which led the development.
