History
Nibuno Station opened on 19 August 1896 on the Bantan Line, 8.2 kilometres from the line's terminus at Himeji. When Japanese National Railways was privatised on 1 April 1987, operation of the station passed to JR West. The unattended station has two ground-level opposed side platforms linked by a footbridge, located in the city of Himeji in Hyōgo Prefecture. It serves a largely residential area near Japan National Route 312, Himeji Central Park, and the Himeji Rose Garden.
