History
Izu-Hokkawa Station sits on the privately owned Izu Kyūkō Line in the town of Higashiizu, Shizuoka Prefecture, 22.9 kilometres from Itō and 39.8 kilometres from Atami. The station has a single elevated side platform built on an embankment, with the station building below, and has been unattended since 1 April 2012. It is served by Izukyū Corporation. In February 2025 Izukyū agreed naming-rights with the Hokkawa Onsen Ryokan Association to add a 39-character promotional sub-name describing the surrounding attractions — the longest station sub-name in Japan.

Notes
The fictional Subarugahama Station, hometown of one of the heroes in the 2014 tokusatsu series Ressha Sentai ToQger, was modeled on Izu-Hokkawa and the on-location shoots took place here.
