History

Enden Station opened on 13 March 1988 as a new stop on the third-sector Tenryū Hamanako Railroad, when the Tenryū Hamanako Line succeeded the former Japanese National Railways Futamata Line. The station sits in Enden, Mori, Shizuoka Prefecture, 14.7 km from Kakegawa along the line. It consists of a single side platform serving one track, with a small wooden shelter built on the platform itself and no separate station building. The station is unstaffed.
