History
Zuiko Yonchome Station opened on 24 December 2006 on the Osaka Municipal Subway Imazatosuji Line, the newest of the system's underground routes, in the Higashiyodogawa ward of Osaka. The official station name was settled earlier that year on 10 July. On 1 April 2018 the operator changed when the Osaka Municipal Transportation Bureau was reorganised as the private-sector Osaka Metro. The station consists of a single underground island platform serving two tracks, with platform-edge gates installed from the day of opening. Its station number is I12, and it is one of the closest stations to Osaka University of Economics as well as Kami-Shinjo Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line.
