History
Bizen-Katakami Station opened on 25 March 1958 as a Japanese National Railways station on the Ako Line, in the city of Bizen, Okayama Prefecture. With the 1987 privatisation of JNR the station passed to JR West. It is 31.0 kilometres from the line's terminus at Aioi and 21.56 kilometres from Banshu-Ako. The station consists of one side platform and one island platform serving three tracks, and is unstaffed. In fiscal 2019 it averaged about 150 boardings per day.
