Minatojima Station is a Kobe New Transit Port Island Line stop in Chūō-ku, Kobe, situated on reclaimed Port Island. Originally named Shimin Byoin Mae Station (市民病院前駅, "In Front of the Civic Hospital Station"), it was renamed Minatojima in 2011 following the relocation of the Kobe Municipal Hospital. The station is also informally known as Campus Mae ("Campus-front"), reflecting its proximity to the Port Island campus of Kobe Gakuin University.
