History

Nishigawa-Ryokudō-Kōen Stop opened on 5 May 1912 as Nishigawa Stop when the Okayama Electric Tramway extended its line from Ekimae (today's Okayama-Ekimae) to Goshōka (today's Shiroshita). The stop is located in Nodayachō 1-chōme and Heiwachō in Kita-ku, Okayama City, on the Higashiyama Main Line. On 1 April 2008 it was renamed Nishigawa-Ryokudō-Kōen after the linear park along the Nishigawa stream that runs beside the stop. Stop numbers are H02 (Higashiyama Line) and S02 (Seikibashi Line). It has a single island platform serving two tracks.
