History
Okayama-Ekimae Stop is the western terminus of the Okayama Electric Tramway's Higashiyama Main Line (H01) and Seikibashi Line (S01), set in the central reservation of Momotarō-Ōdōri running east from the east exit of JR Okayama Station. It uses a single island platform serving two tracks, with the western (station-facing) side used for boarding and the eastern side for alighting. The 180-metre distance between JR Okayama Station and this tram stop has long been considered an inconvenience for transfers, prompting plans for an extension into the JR Okayama east plaza. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport approved the plan on 13 March 2020, and a 100-metre relocation of the stop into the station forecourt is scheduled for completion by late 2026; in the meantime, from 22 July 2025 the alighting-only platform will start handling both boarding and alighting.

Notes
On-site access to the platform from the surface uses a pedestrian crossing; from the underground concourse a passageway under the underground shopping arcade "Okayama Ichibangai" leads to the stop. After the planned relocation, the Higashiyama Line terminus station number will move from H01 to a new node nearer the station entrance.
