History
Kita-Tengachaya Station (HN56) is a Hankai Tramway Hankai Line tram stop in Nishinari-ku, Osaka. It opened on 1 December 1911 with the original Hankai Electric Tramway's Ebisu-chō – Ichinochō (present-day Daishōji) section, and passed to Nankai Railway in 1915, Kinki Nippon Railway in 1944, Nankai Electric Railway in 1947, and the present second-generation Hankai Tramway on 1 December 1980. It sits on the boundary between Tengachaya 3-chōme on the Ebisu-chō-bound platform side and Shōtenshita 1-chōme on the Hamadera-ekimae-bound side.
