History
Higashi-Tamade Station (HN59) is a Hankai Tramway Hankai Line tram stop in Nishinari-ku, Osaka. It opened on 1 December 1911 as Kotsuma Station (勝間駅) with the original Hankai Electric Tramway's Ebisu-chō – Ichinochō (present-day Daishōji) section. Ownership passed to Nankai Railway in 1915, the stop was renamed Higashi-Tamade some time after 1941, then to Kinki Nippon Railway in June 1944, Nankai Electric Railway in June 1947, and the present second-generation Hankai Tramway in December 1980.
