History
Hosoigawa Station (HN13) is a Hankai Tramway Hankai Line tram stop in Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka. It opened on 1 December 1911 with the original Hankai Electric Tramway. The stop was successively transferred to Nankai Railway (1915), Kinki Nippon Railway (June 1944) and Nankai Electric Railway (June 1947). According to the Sumiyoshi Ward History, the stop had been closed by around 1953, and was reopened on 30 March 1955. Following the 1 December 1980 spin-off, it became part of the current Hankai Tramway.
