History
Goryōmae Station (HN25) is a Hankai Tramway Hankai Line tram stop in Sakai-ku, Sakai. It opened on 5 March 1912 as Shōrinjibashi Station with the southward extension of the original Hankai Electric Tramway. It was renamed Goryōmae around 1925, in reference to its proximity to the Nintoku-tennō mausoleum and the wider Mozu kofun cluster. Successive operator changes followed — Nankai Railway in 1915, Kinki Nippon Railway in June 1944, Nankai Electric Railway in June 1947, and the present Hankai Tramway in December 1980. The platforms were moved 41 m north to the present site in 1991.

Notes
Goryōmae opened in 1912 as Shōrinjibashi Station (少林寺橋停留場), named for a since-disappeared bridge near the Shōrin-ji Zen monastery; it was only renamed Goryōmae around 1925, after the nearby Nintoku-tennō kofun.
