History
Tokida Station opened on 1 April 1963 as a passenger-only unstaffed stop between Taki and Tamaru on the Sangū Line, in present-day Taki, Mie Prefecture, with construction funded by local subscription bonds. The station passed to JR Central with the privatisation of JNR on 1 April 1987. The station consists of a single side platform with no station building.
