History
Yokogawa Station tram stop (Y04) is the western terminus of the Hiroden Yokogawa Line, located in the south plaza of JR West's Yokogawa Station in Nishi-ku, Hiroshima. The Yokogawa Line opened on 1 November 1917 with the Yokogawa Station-front stop (横川駅前停留場), plus a terminus called Misasa beyond it. Around 1926 Misasa was renamed Yokogawa; the original Yokogawa Station-front stop closed on 28 July 1941. In July 1951 the line was shortened by 70 m and the present alignment beside JR Yokogawa was established. The stop was renamed Yokogawa-eki on 1 November 2001, was relocated to its present position inside the JR south plaza on 27 March 2003, and the station number became Y04 on 3 August 2025.

Notes
Hiroden trams used to terminate on the road outside Yokogawa; on 27 March 2003 the line was extended slightly into the south plaza of JR Yokogawa, and trams now stop under a covered roof inside the bus interchange.
