History
Jogakuin-mae Station (W01) is a Hiroden Hakushima Line tram stop in Naka-ku, Hiroshima, named for the neighbouring Hiroshima Jogakuin schools and university. While the Hakushima Line itself was opened in 1912 by the Hiroshima Electric Tramway, the stop itself dates only from 1952 — the post-war reconstruction of the Hakushima Line. The pre-war Hakushima Line had been suspended since the 6 August 1945 atomic bombing; the line was rebuilt on a newly-built main road (Hakushima-dōri), and Jogakuin-mae was opened along with several other stops on that new alignment.

Notes
Like Katei-Saibansho-mae and Shukkeien-mae nearby, Jogakuin-mae is a post-war creation: the Hakushima Line was suspended after the 6 August 1945 atomic bombing, and was only rebuilt on a new alignment along Hakushima-dōri in 1952, when this stop opened.
