History
Hayashimichi Station opened on 30 April 1912 as a stop on the Takamatsu Electric Tramway in what is now Kita-ku, Takamatsu. The station closed in 1934 and remained out of service for two decades before being revived on 1 August 1954 as a Kotoden Nagao Line station under the Takamatsu Kotohira Electric Railway. It now sits 2.7 km from the line's eastern terminus at Kawaramachi and 4.4 km from Takamatsu-Chikko, with the designation N04. The station has a single side platform serving one bi-directional track and is unattended, with no station building. A tobacconist once handled commissioned ticket sales at the platform but is no longer in business.

Notes
After closing in 1934, the station was reopened in 1954 only when a new road to the former Takamatsu Airport made the location useful again; the airport itself was later relocated.
