History
Hagiwara Station opened on 25 August 1963 on the Chikuhō Electric Railway line, in what is now Hagiwara 1-chōme, Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyūshū. On 26 July 2015 it gained the naming-rights subtitle 'Hagiwara Central Hospital-mae'. The station carries number CK04.

Notes
Although laid out as two opposed platforms, they sit obliquely on either side of the level crossing next to the station, and the crossing itself is a Class 4 (no warning bell, no barrier). Departing trains therefore sound a warning via horn, foot-gong, melody horn or external speaker.
