History
Moritsune Station is an elevated Kitakyushu Monorail station in Kokuraminami-ku, Kitakyushu, with station number 09. It opened on 9 January 1985 as part of the original monorail line and ICカード mono SUGOCA became usable on 1 October 2015. The station has two side platforms serving two tracks, and is located in one of the busier commercial corners of the Kokura-Minami section of the monorail, with the Sunlive Moritsune and Marushoku Shin-Moritsune retail centres immediately adjacent.
