History
Higashi-Nakama Station opened on 15 October 1956 on the Chikuhō Electric Railroad Line in what is now the city of Nakama, Fukuoka Prefecture. The station is 7.2 km from the line's Kurosaki terminus and carries the station number CK12. It has two opposed side platforms and is unstaffed; a shop is attached to the up-direction platform building. The line through Higashi-Nakama is operated by the Chikuhō Electric Railroad (Chikutetsu), a private suburban interurban that links Kurosaki to the towns north of Iizuka.
