Notes
Until the 1990s the station mainly served visitors to Shinkawa Beach, but bather numbers fell sharply after 1992 — the Seto Inland Sea 'shark scare' — and similar nationwide incidents. Today the station's traffic comes mostly from the new residential development that has grown up to its east.
