History
Chikuhō-Nōgata Station opened on 18 September 1959 as the southern terminus of the Chikuhō Electric Railroad Line, the day the line was extended from Koyanose. Located in the city of Nōgata in Fukuoka Prefecture, it sits 16.0 km from the opposite terminus at Kurosaki and carries the station number CK21. The elevated terminus has two bay platforms; Platform 2 is used by most trains because it connects directly to the entrance stairs and has a covered shelter, while Platform 1 is reserved largely for rush-hour and special workings. The station is unattended and operated by Chikuhō Electric Railroad (Chikutetsu).
