History
Minami-Nōgata-Gotenguchi Station opened on 3 March 2001 on the Ita Line of the third-sector Heisei Chikuhō Railway in Nōgata, Fukuoka Prefecture. Sited 1.1 km from the start of the line at Nōgata, it consists of two opposed side platforms connected by a level crossing and has no station building. The station was numbered HC2 in the operator's scheme. Its waiting-room design references the Nagasaki Kaidō historic post road that once ran nearby, and it sits on an embankment alongside the Chikuhō Main Line. The station is wheelchair accessible via a ramp from ground level.

Notes
Because nearby judicial offices draw legal work to the area, the streets in front of the station host an unusually high concentration of administrative and judicial scriveners.
