History

Ichiba Station opened on 1 April 1990, about one year after the Heisei Chikuhō Railway itself began operations. It is on the Ita Line at Ichiba, Fukuchi Town, Tagawa District, Fukuoka, and carries number HC6. It is an embankment-mounted halt with two opposed platforms, no station building (only a shelter), and is unstaffed; the only access between platforms and ground level is by staircase, so the station is not barrier-free.

Notes

The station sits in an embankment cut surrounded by rice paddies, with only a few small landmarks nearby: a kindergarten, a JA Tagawa branch, and the Kasuga Shrine. No platform numbers are assigned for passenger guidance.
