History
Hitomi Station opened on 1 April 1990 on the Ita Line of the third-sector Heisei Chikuhō Railway. It is a purpose-built infill station with no station building — only platform-mounted shelters — and serves a residential area in the town of Fukuchi, Fukuoka Prefecture. The station has two unnumbered opposed side platforms, is barrier-free via a ramp, and carries the line designation HC9.
