History
Kakishita Onsenguchi Station opened on 18 March 1993 on the Tagawa Line of the third-sector Heisei Chikuhō Railway, serving the town of Kawara in Fukuoka Prefecture. The station carries the number HC18 and lies 22.5 km from the line origin at Yukuhashi, with trains arriving roughly every 30 minutes. It consists of a single side platform serving one bi-directional track; there is no station building and the stop is unattended, but the platform is ramp-connected to the exterior for barrier-free access. The surrounding area is largely scrub and farmland, with the National Route 322 Kawara-Ōtō Bypass running just to the west.
