History
Naka-Tabira Station opened on 16 March 1991 as an unstaffed stop on the Matsuura Railway Nishi-Kyūshū Line in Hirado, Nagasaki Prefecture. The line has been operated by the third-sector Matsuura Railway since 1988. The station consists of a single ground-level side platform with no station building, only a waiting room, set above the local road on a sloped site about 48 km from the Arita end of the line.
