History
Midaibashi Station is a halt on the Matsuura Railway Nishi-Kyūshū Line, in Minamihara, Arita town, Saga Prefecture. It opened on 11 March 1989; the third-sector Matsuura Railway has operated the line since 1988. The unstaffed station consists of a single ground-level side platform serving a bi-directional track. There is no station building — only a shelter on the platform — and the stop sits 1.7 km from the line's starting point at Arita. Between 1 July and 15 October 1996, a temporary "Sekai Honoo-haku" station operated on the section between Midaibashi and the future Kurogō station.
