History
Iyoki Station opened on 18 December 1963 as an unstaffed intermediate stop when Japanese National Railways completed the Nakamura Line from Kubokawa to Tosa-Saga. After the 1987 privatisation of JNR, control passed briefly to JR Shikoku, before transferring on 1 April 1988 to the newly-formed third-sector Tosa Kuroshio Railway when the line was converted. The station is located in the town of Kuroshio, Hata District, Kōchi Prefecture, and has the station number TK29. It consists of a single side platform with no station building, only a platform shelter, and is served only by local Nakamura Line trains. Average daily ridership was 21 passengers in fiscal 2019.
