History
Tsubogawa Station opened on 10 August 2003 with the inaugural Naha Airport–Shuri segment of the Okinawa Urban Monorail (Yui Rail), the first rail line on Okinawa since World War II. It is an elevated stop with two side platforms serving two tracks, located on the bank of the Kokuba River. OKICA contactless smart card support was added on 20 October 2014, and the ten major Japanese IC cards including Suica became usable from 10 March 2020.
