History
Mine Station (no. 04) is an Utsunomiya Light Rail Utsunomiya-Haga LRT Line tram stop at the intersection of Tochigi Prefectural Route 64 (Utsunomiya-Mukōda) and Utsunomiya Municipal Route 1635 in Mine, Utsunomiya. The provisional name during planning was "Imaizumi-chō". The stop's name was decided on 23 April 2021, and it opened on 26 August 2023. CDP Japan, a personnel-dispatch company, purchased the naming rights and added the sub-name "CDP Japan Honsha-mae". At about 05:05 on 17 November 2023, a drunk driver crashed into an electric pole on the platform 2 side of the stop towards the Utsunomiya Station East end, damaging the overhead-line equipment and being arrested for drink-driving. The stop has a staggered two-platform layout — the Haga-Takanezawa-direction platform is on the Mine 2-chōme side and the Utsunomiya Station East-direction platform is on the Mine 1-chōme side.
