History

Yamahana 19-jō Stop (SC16) is on the Sapporo Streetcar Yamahana Line in Chūō-ku, Sapporo, at the Nishi-7-chōme-dōri/Kanjō-sen intersection (Minami 19-jō Nishi 6-chōme). It opened on 23 November 1931 as Ichi-Chū-ura Stop, was abolished on 1 December 1941, reopened as Minami-19-jō on 17 April 1950, renamed Yamahana 19-jō on 1 April 1959, abolished again on 1 November 1965 when it was absorbed into Kashiwa-Chūgaku-mae (now Kōnan-shōgakkō-mae) and reopened a second time as Yamahana 19-jō on 1 November 1973. The stop number SC16 was assigned on 1 April 2015.
