History
Aoyagi-chō Stop (Y25) is on the Hakodate City Tram Hōrai-Yachigashira Line in Aoyagi-chō 33-banchi and 21-banchi, Hakodate, Hokkaidō. It opened on 30 October 1913. The opposed 2-platform / 2-track layout had a protective wall added on the outbound platform in July 2005. On both platforms the Yachigashira side has a pedestrian-activated signal crossing, configured for limited-hour automatic control during operating hours so passengers can cross immediately after stepping off.

Notes
Aoyagi-chō sits next door to Hakodate Park and the Municipal Hakodate Museum — both within a short walk — so weekend riders include a noticeable share of leisure passengers heading to the park compared with the line's usual commuter traffic.
