History
Nagamine Station is an unstaffed JR East Ōu Main Line stop in the town of Ōwani, Aomori Prefecture, 432.0 kilometres from the line's southern terminus at Fukushima. It opened on 1 December 1952 as a Japanese National Railways passenger station. Parcels handling ended on 1 October 1971 and the station was destaffed at the same time. It came under JR East at the 1 April 1987 privatisation. The layout consists of two opposed side platforms linked by a footbridge, with a small waiting-room building set alongside track 1. The station is managed remotely from Hirosaki Station.
