The kanji 及位 are ordinarily read as "kyūi" but here render as "Nozoki" — a name preserved from a Buddhist initiation rite said to have been practised on nearby peaks; the rakugo storyteller Sanyūtei Enka III famously used the puzzle in his "Nakazawa-ke no Hitobito" routine.
