History
Hanyūda Station opened on 19 April 1903 on what is now JR East's Shin'etsu Main Line, in the town of Tagami, Niigata. It has one side platform and one island platform connected to the station building by a footbridge. In fiscal 2015 the station was used by an average of 570 passengers a day (boardings only). Its surroundings include Tagami town hall and National Route 403.
