History
Entoku Station opened on 26 March 1923, originally built by the Kawahigashi Railway in what is now the city of Nakano, Nagano Prefecture. The Kawahigashi Railway merged with Nagano Electric Railway in 1926, bringing the station under its present operator. Entoku became unstaffed on 30 December 1970. In preparation for the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics the station was relocated about 300 metres towards Shinshūnakano and rebuilt as a passing station with an island platform, with the new station building completed in 1994 (station opened at the new site on 13 October 1994). On 19 August 2020 the second track and the level crossing within the station were taken out of service, returning Entoku to single-track operation.

Notes
Entoku was rebuilt as a passing station and relocated 300 metres in 1994 specifically to handle the extra trains that ran during the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics.
