History
Yabuzuka Station opened on 19 March 1913 with the Tōbu Kiryū Line. A two-track ground-level depot with side platforms, it retains its original wooden station building, an unusual layout in which the up- and down-line platforms are not directly opposite each other. Station numbering arrived on 17 March 2012 when Yabuzuka was designated TI-53. The forecourt was rebuilt with a bicycle parking refit and a roundabout. The station is served by all Tōbu Kiryū Line "Ryōmō" and "Revaty Ryōmō" limited expresses as well as local trains, and is the nearest railway stop to Yabuzuka Onsen.
