History
Kita-Nakagomi Station serves the city of Saku in Nagano Prefecture and is operated by JR East on its Koumi Line, 68.4 kilometres from the Kobuchizawa starting point. It opened on 8 August 1915 as Kubo Stop on the privately built Saku Railway, was elevated to a full station on 1 September 1934 when the line was nationalised into the JNR Koumi-North Line, and adopted its present name on 1 March 1944 after being moved roughly 100 metres towards Namezu. Baggage handling ended in 1970 and freight handling in 1981. With the dissolution and privatisation of JNR on 1 April 1987, the station passed to JR East. It has a single side platform with only a shelter.
