History
Socio Distribution Center Station was a request station built by Chichibu Railway between Mochida and Kumagaya on the Chichibu Main Line. The cities of Kumagaya and Gyōda split the approximate 192-million-yen station-building cost equally and received a one-third subsidy under the national programme for sustaining and improving regional public transport, with the Kumagaya Regional Public Transport Council acting as the legal project body. The station opened on 1 April 2017 after a ceremony on 31 March; PASMO became usable on 12 March 2022, at which point the station also became unstaffed. It has a single 70-metre side platform serving the bidirectional single track.

Notes
A 2015 public poll selected "Ryūtsū Center (Distribution Center)" as the proposed name, but to avoid confusion with the existing Ryūtsū Center Station on the Tokyo Monorail the operator prefixed it with "Socio," the nickname of the nearby Kumagaya Distribution Center.
