History
Hanasaki Station opened on 1 April 1927 on Tobu Railway's Isesaki Line, in present-day Kazo, Saitama. The March 2006 timetable revision renamed semi-expresses to section express services and operationally split the line at Kuki, ending daytime through trains toward Asakusa from this station; section semi-express trains began stopping at the same time. Station numbering TI-04 was introduced on 17 March 2012, and departure melodies followed on 25 March 2013. An LED departure indicator was added on 26 March 2024. The station has two opposed side platforms with an elevated station building, and toilets at the Isesaki end of platform 2 and near the south entrance.

Notes
Around 1,700 students from Hanasaki Tokuharu High School, one of Saitama's strongest baseball schools, give the platforms a distinct rush-hour buzz during the school commute.
