History
Toyoharu Station opened on 17 November 1929 on what is now the Tōbu Urban Park Line (formerly the Tōbu Noda Line). Located in the city of Kasukabe, Saitama, it is operated by the private Tōbu Railway and lies 12.2 km from the line's western terminus at Ōmiya. Two ground-level opposing side platforms serve the line's two tracks, with an elevated station building above them. On 17 March 2012 the Tōbu network's station-numbering scheme came in, and Toyoharu was designated TD-08. The Tōbu Noda Line itself was rebranded the Tōbu Urban Park Line on the same date, and Toyoharu has carried the new identity ever since.
