History
Bushū-Karasawa Station opened on 16 December 1934, the same day Tōbu Railway's predecessor on the line, the Ogose Railway, opened the route through to Ogose for passenger service. The station has a single bi-directional side platform long enough for four cars and stands roughly nine kilometres from Sakado on the line. Platform-edge sensors and CCTV monitors were installed in 2008 in preparation for the Ogose Line's switch to driver-only operation in June of that year. Station numbering on the Ogose Line was introduced on 17 March 2012, with Bushū-Karasawa designated TJ 46. The station is partly staffed, with intercoms handling enquiries when no attendant is on duty.
