History
Ōbukuro Station opened on 1 October 1926 on the Tōbu Skytree Line (Tōbu Isesaki Line) in the city of Koshigaya, Saitama Prefecture, 28.5 km from the line's terminus at Asakusa. System-wide station numbering was introduced on all Tōbu lines on 17 March 2012, with this station designated TS-23. The station has two opposed side platforms serving two tracks, with an elevated station building set above and at right angles to the platforms.
