History

Fujimi Station opened on 21 December 1904 on the Chūō Main Line in what is now the town of Fujimi, Suwa District, Nagano Prefecture. With the privatisation of Japanese National Railways on 1 April 1987 the station passed to JR East. Station numbering came to the line in February 2025, and Fujimi was assigned the code CO53. The ground-level station consists of one side platform and one island platform connected by a footbridge, with a staffed Midori no Madoguchi ticket office.

Notes

Although the staffed Midori no Madoguchi ticket office is nominally open from 06:00 to 19:00, it closes for short rest breaks at several fixed times each day, including a one-hour 12:25–13:25 lunch shutter.
