History

Edogawadai Station opened on 16 February 1958 on the Tōbu Noda Line (now the Tōbu Urban Park Line), in the city of Nagareyama, Chiba Prefecture. The station was rebuilt in 1985 with a new structure situated above the platforms, and station numbering ("TD-20") was introduced on 17 March 2012. The station is served by the 62.7 km Urban Park Line, which runs from Ōmiya in Saitama to Funabashi in Chiba, and lies 35.1 km from the line's western terminus at Ōmiya. It has two opposed side platforms serving two tracks, with the station building set above the platforms.
